How to enter and exit the car park
Whether you're travelling soon or just dropping someone off, parking at Perth Airport is designed to be straightforward.
Below you'll find clear, step-by-step guidance on how to enter and exit our car parks, whether you've booked online or are driving up on the day.
If you have an online booking
Entering the car park
Step 1: Drive up to the entry gate for license plate recognition
When you arrive at the car park entrance, our cameras will scan and verify your license plate against your booking. This may take a few seconds.
Step 2: Wait for your ticket
A ticket will be automatically issued, and the boom gate will open.
Step 3: Keep your ticket safe
Be sure to keep your ticket in a safe place out of the sun, as you’ll need it when exiting the car park on your return.
Exiting the car park
Step 1: Head straight to your car
No need to visit a payment machine, simply have the ticket you received at entry handy.
Step 2: Proceed to the exit gate
Drive up to the exit gate and insert your ticket. The boom gates will open.
What should I do if something isn’t working?
If you need help at any point, press the 24/7 intercom button at the gate to speak with our customer support team.
If your license plate is not recognised:
Scan the QR code found in your confirmation email.
Tip: Turn your phone brightness up and hold your phone at a slight angle to the QR code scanner.
Please don’t press the green button or tap your card, as this will start a new transaction.
If this doesn’t work, please press the help button at the gate for 24/7 customer support.
Bringing a different car?
If you plan to bring a different car for your booking, you can update your license plate details up to two hours before your booking starts.
For bookings within two hours, please scan your QR code or press the 24/7 intercom button to enter the car park.

If you don’t have a booking
Whether you’re picking someone up, dropping them off, or parking for your own trip, our car parks can be accessed without an online booking.
Please pay attention to signage for guidance on car park capacities. For pricing, view our drive-up parking rates.
Entering the car park
Step 1: Enter the car park
Drive up to the entry gate and press the button for a ticket.
Step 2: Keep your ticket safe
Please keep your ticket safe as you will need it to exit.
Exiting the car park
Step 1: Go to the parking pay station
Insert your parking ticket into the pay station machine to make payment.
Step 2: Proceed to the exit gate
Drive up to the exit gate and insert your paid ticket. The boom gates will open.
Please note:
You can pay for your ticket at the exit gates. However, we recommend making payment prior to assist the flow of traffic.
Once payment is made, you have a 10minute grace period to exit the car park, giving you plenty of time to get to your car and drive to the exit if you’ve paid at a pay station.
